About 30-minutes outside San Diego, this 7.5 mile hike is a ton of fun and a great workout. It can get crowded during the spring and summer, so plan to arrive early.

San Diego Zoo

Voted #1 zoo in the world for good reason! Wear great walking shoes and plan to spend at least a couple of hours here. You can have weekend brunch at Albert’s or schedule a visit to see the animals in action.

Only have 24-Hours?

Land, head straight to Point Loma for breakfast/lunch at Little Lion and a walk along Sunset Cliffs. Head to Hillcrest to check out the original Pigment and walk through Balboa Park, and then pop over to South Park to grab a cocktail at KINDRED. Finish out the day by walking around Little Italy while you wait on your table at Bencotto.

Staying Longer?

Take the coaster out to one of the beach town, Encinitas or Carlsbad, and have breakfast at A Little Moore Coffee Shop, spend the day playing beach volleyball at Moonlight Beach, and then make s’mores at Campfire in Carlsbad.
